The duration is 6 months until the end of your course plus an additional 90 days to leave the country or renew it. In addition, having a student visa allows you to work part-time legally, which helps you gain Canadian work experience and in the future be able to apply for Canadian residency.

What are the basic requirements to apply for this student visa?

• Have been admitted by a recognized institution of higher education in Canada.
• Present a valid passport with a validity of not less than six months, after the period of stay in the country.
• To have the financial support for the studies to be carried out and maintenance.
